DrozLegal / Roadmap

From assistant to autopilot.

DrozLegal today is a Canadian-sovereign PMS with embedded AI agents that run when a lawyer clicks. DrozLegal tomorrow is Practice Automation Software (PAS): continuous, event-driven workflows that run because something happened in the firm’s data — and present finished work for review. The lawyer’s relationship with the product changes from “I use this” to “I supervise this”.

The quarterly path

What ships, and when.

A four-quarter rollout from PMS to PAS, in the order partners asked for it.

Q1

The Autonomy Engine & The Daily Briefing

The spine. Universal event bus, trigger rule engine, confidence scoring framework, long-running workflow state, retry orchestration. The Briefing as the single interface for everything autonomous. All existing agents (ar_dunning, wills_outreach, minute_book_review) feed in.

Q2

Email Autonomy & Onboarding Intelligence

Microsoft Graph and Gmail integration with full historical analysis. Email-to-matter assignment, routine response drafting in lawyer’s voice, send-on-behalf with audit. Onboarding analyser proposes workflows from each firm’s imported data; approval queue goes live.

Q3

Meeting-to-Deliverable & Migration Tooling

Transcript-in workflow with 14 downstream actions (matter creation, engagement letter, DocuSign, time entries, follow-up correspondence, court documents, conflict checks, status updates). Clio / PCLaw / Cosmolex / Soluno / QuickBooks bi-directional sync hardened.

Q4

Client Portal & Revenue-generation Autonomy

Per-firm-branded client portal with matter visibility, document signing, secure messaging and payments. Compliance & revenue agents at scale: quarterly minute-book audits, legacy file outreach, annual-return reminders, insurance & contract renewal alerts.

Always shipping

  • L6 agent quality bar: smoke-tests, production reliability hardening before adding more.
  • Pre-Meeting Brief generation tied to calendar.
  • Ontario Business Registry integration — corporate contact & annual-return sync.
  • Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams plugins.
  • Native iOS & Android with mobile sign-off.
