Ricardo Rozo is the founder and CEO of DROZlegal, a practice-automation platform built for Canadian law firms. DROZlegal is a project of Droz Technologies, a federally incorporated Canadian technology company founded in 2011, where Ricardo's father, Rafael Rozo Sr., is CTO.
Ricardo started DROZlegal to bring the same kind of automation that other industries have had for years — event-driven workflows, embedded AI assistance, structured audit trails — into the day-to-day work of running an Ontario law firm: intake, drafting, trust accounting, and the paperwork that surrounds a case from open to close. DROZlegal is built to run entirely on Canadian infrastructure (AWS ca-central-1) and to work within the Law Society of Ontario's professional-conduct and trust-accounting rules, not around them.
